Sunday Spirits: Lemosa
Mixing up a delicious, locally-sourced drink of the week
After social distancing for about a month now, many of us are trying to find ways to use our imagination and get creative. Looking to spice up your at-home bar during quarantine? We are sharing a cocktail a week. If you are able to get your hands on a few staple ingredients a tasty new drink concoction can be a great distraction to help pass the time. We are missing our favorite local restaurants, bars, and happy hours! Cheers and stay well everyone.
Lemosa
(Makes one)
What you need:
- Three ounces of your favorite champagne or sparkling wine (I used The Perfect Bubbly from Mazza)
- Three ounces of lemonade or any lemon-flavored drink (I like to make homemade lemonade using one cup of lemon juice, one cup of sugar, and six cups of water)
- Lemon slices
- Strawberries and blueberries for garnish
- Champagne flute
What to do:
- Fill the glass with three ounces of lemonade
- Top with three ounces of champagne
- Add a squeeze of lemon juice
- Garnish with lemon slice, strawberries, and blueberries
Enjoy!
