Packed Weekend at PACA
Open house, live performances to polish off February
The Performing Artists Collective Alliance — aka PACA — will be performing at its peak powers throughout the weekend, with unique entertainment events unfolding each night at 1505 State St. Here's a look at what's happening on the other side of the train track underpass.
PACA Open House
On Friday night, the full eclectic breadth of PACA will be on display during its winter open house event — from the connected City Gallery on the Mayer Building's ground floor to the ClaySpace pottery studio on the third floor to the PACA Movement Studio on the fourth floor.

Smilo & The Ghost Live Album Recording (sold out)
Fingers Crossed and Godspeed to you if you did not reserve a ticket to the live concert recording of Smilo & The Ghost's latest release, named one of the "Erie Reader's Top Albums from Erie Artists in 2021." Those who did get their foot in the door on the limited-attendance show will enjoy an opening performance from Matt Texter before local troubadour Tyler Smilo and his band empty another set of emotive, lyrical folk rock onto the PACA stage this Saturday night. The concert recording will be available at a later date courtesy of Justin Rose of GCR Audio in Buffalo, N.Y.

Psycho Hosebeast
Deriving their name from an infamous quote from the 1992 comedy Wayne's World, Psycho Hosebeast is the garage rock duo of AJ Samuels (guitar) and Mike Borowicz (drums), most excellent friends who play with a most excellent energy. The young rockers represent the latest edition of the long-running PACA [Live!} Concert Series, a Sunday tradition instituted toward the beginning of the pandemic that will now register its 74th installment. The series streams on Facebook Live every Sunday night at 8 p.m. with limited seating in-house.
