First Official Case of COVID-19 Found in Erie County
Coronavirus makes its way to northwest Pennsylvania
The first official case of COVID-19 has been found in Erie County. According to Erie News Now, the patient, 35, recently traveled and is presumed to have come in contact with the virus from outside of Erie. This is the first positive testing for the virus in Erie County. Prior to this, there have been 96 confirmed cases across Pennsylvania, making Erie the 15th of Pennsylvania's 67 counties to have a confirmed case of the disease. More to follow.
