Erie County Sees Single-digit Daily COVID-19 Cases
No new deaths were reported this week, with less than 20 new cases
According to the PA Department of Health, there have been 21,224 total cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County, for an increase of 16 cases this week.
The Erie County Department of Health is reporting 475 total deaths. It should be noted that last week they reported 476 total deaths. As data is verified, numbers change to reflect accuracy. Pennsylvania has the total number of Erie County deaths at 417. According to state data, there has not been a COVID-19-related death in Erie County since June 12.
According to the PA Department of Health, there are 121,737 fully vaccinated residents in Erie County, a 1,958 rise from last week, now accounting for nearly 45.7% of the entire population (for a 0.74% increase this week). There are currently 17,067 partially vaccinated residents.
