Erie County Sees 91 Weekly COVID-19 Cases, Two Deaths
11 new COVID-19 cases reported today
On Wednesday, June 9, the office of Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper reported 11 new positive cases of COVID-19.
Erie County's cumulative total now stands at 21,146 total cases and 472 total deaths.
In the past week, there have been 91 new cases one death listed in the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS). On average, there were more than 13 new cases per day last week, for a decrease of five cases per day compared to last week's data.
According to the PA Department of Health, there are 112,744 fully vaccinated residents in Erie County, a 5,034 rise from last week, now accounting for nearly 42.4% of the entire population (for a 2% increase this week). There are currently 18,897 partially vaccinated residents.
