In the last week, there have been 774 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County According to the PA Department of Health, a notable decrease with 1,320 new cases reported the previous week, with 1,551 the week prior, and 1,206 the week before that.
The number of cumulative cases in Erie County is now 39,678. The PA Health Department has the total number of COVID-19 deaths at 613, with 19 occurring this week. The Erie County Department of Health lists a total of 648 deaths, with 27 occurring this week.
Over the last seven days, there has been an average of nearly 111 cases per day (a per-day decrease of more than 77 over last week).
As of now, there are 147,825 Erie County residents who have been fully vaccinated, with 22,718 having received their first dose, and 56,954 who have received a booster shot.
