Erie County Sees 129 Weekly COVID-19 Cases, Two Deaths
14 new COVID-19 cases reported today
On Wednesday, June 2, the office of Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper reported 14 new positive cases of COVID-19.
Erie County's cumulative total now stands at 21,055 total cases and 471 total deaths.
In the past week, there have been 129 new cases two deaths listed in the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS). On average, there were more than 18 new cases per day last week, for a decrease of just over one case per day compared to last week's data.
According to the PA Department of Health, there are 107,710 fully vaccinated residents in Erie County, a 3,296 rise from last week, now accounting for over 40.4% of the entire population (for a 2.5% increase this week). There are currently 20,700 partially vaccinated residents.
