Erie County Reports 911 New COVID-19 Cases This Week
Slight rise in already high number of cases
In the last week, there have been 911 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County According to the PA Department of Health, with 867 new cases reported the previous week, 894 the week prior, and 972 the week before that.
The number of cumulative cases in Erie County is now 30,087. The PA Health Department has the total number of COVID-19 deaths at 495, while the Erie County Department of Health lists a total of 542.
One death has been reported this week by the PA Dept. of Health, while the Erie County Department of Health reported nine deaths between Oct. 17 and Nov. 2.
As of now, there are 140,167 Erie County residents who have been fully vaccinated, with 13,632 having received their first dose, and 24,276 who have received a booster shot.
Over the last seven days, there has been an average of more than 130 cases per day (a per-day increase of more than six).
