Erie County Reports 1,416 Weekly COVID-19 Cases
An average of 202 new cases per day were reported this week
In the last week, there have been 1,416 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County According to the PA Department of Health, down from last week's 1,966 cases reported, with 3,363 the week prior, and 4,162 the week before that.
Over the last seven days, there has been an average of over 202 cases per day (a per-day decrease of more than 78 compared to last week).
The number of cumulative cases in Erie County is now 54,788, according to both the state and county Department of Health.
The PA Health Department has the total number of COVID-19 deaths at 688 with 17 occurring this week. The Erie County Department of Health lists a total of 733 deaths, with 22 occurring this week.
As of now, there are 152,843 Erie County residents who have been fully vaccinated (up 703 from last week), with 25,005 having received their first dose (down 64), and 73,207 who have received a booster shot (up 2,421).
