Erie County Reports 1,020 New COVID-19 Cases This Week
Saturday saw the largest single-day total since January
In the last week, there have been 1,020 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County According to the PA Department of Health, with 793 new cases reported the previous week, and 802 the week prior.
One death has been reported this week by the PA Dept. of Health, while the Erie County Department of Health reported two additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
As of now, there are 135,888 Pennsylvanians who have been fully vaccinated, with 11,076 having received their first dose.
Over the last seven days, there has been an average of more than 113 cases per day.
As of now, there are 136,793 Pennsylvanians who have been fully vaccinated (905 more this week), with 11,718 having received their first dose (up 642 this week).
Erie County's cumulative total now stands at 26,436 total cases.
