Erie County COVID-19 Cases at 1,504
51 deaths, 45 current active cases reported by Health Department
The office of Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper reported 13 new positive cases of COVID-19 today. This brings our cumulative total to 1,504 positive cases. There have been 26,577 total negative tests. There have been 1,404 recovered cases, with eight announced today, for a total of 49 current active cases in Erie County. There have been 51 total Erie County deaths reported by the National Electronic Disease Surveillance System (NEDSS).
Since last Wednesday, there have been, 65 new positive cases, 48 recoveries, 1,093 negative tests, and three new deaths.
In the last month, there have been 207 new positive cases (down 15 from last week), 379 recoveries, and 13 deaths.
Erie County's cumulative positive case total has more than doubled in ten weeks. The amount of deaths reported has doubled in more than seven weeks.

Today, Pennsylvania, saw 898 additional positive cases reported, for a total of 152,544. So far, there have been 8,062 deaths statewide, with 39 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. 1,790,412 patients have tested negative to date, with 12,496 negative tests yesterday.
In the last week, Pennsylvania saw 4,621 new cases and 149 deaths. The last month saw 23,070 new cases and 483 deaths.
According to the CDC, the US has a total of 6,874,982 total cases with 303,115 new cases in the last seven days and 49,285 in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths in the US is 200,275, with 5,222 reported in the last week.
If Erie County were to proportionally have as many cases as Pennsylvania, the county's total cases would be more than doubled, at roughly 3,264.

Venango County has 83 positive cases (up four) and one death. Warren County has 42 total positive cases and one death (with no change this week).
Ashtabula County's cumulative total is 653 positive cases (up 19 this week), with 99 hospitalized, and 48 deaths (no change). Chautauqua County has a cumulative total of 623 positive cases (37) and ten deaths (no change).
