Entrepreneurs' meetup at Renaissance Centre tonight
There are a lot of cool things happening inside Erie's tallest building. Check it out, businesspeople.
Entrepreneurship, states Erie's Innovation Collaborative, "is about more than starting new businesses -- it's a mindset, an approach to problem-solving, a path to innovative solutions that can be embraced by all members of a community."
Ask any of the folks behind the Erie-made companies doing business at the downtown Renaissance Centre, and they'd likely tell you there's a lot of truth to that statement. And they may have a lot more to say about building businesses in Erie, and bettering communities in Erie, and how those two goals are connected -- and what it takes, and means, to be successful at both.
Listen up, local entrepreneurs (fledgling, well-established, or somewhere in between): If you'd like to hear what Renaissance Centre businesspeople have to say, and to check out some of the cool stuff happening at Erie's tallest building, today's your lucky day. This evening, from 5 to 7 p.m., Innovation Collaborative is hosting an entreprenuers-only meetup at the Centre, 1001 State St.
Organizers say Centre tenants including Franco's, Impromptu, Isaac Baker, Picturesque, and weCreate will be some (but not all) of the local businesses on hand, making tonight a great opportunity for budding (and already blooming) entrepreneurs to meet up and share ideas at the core of downtown Erie.
