As if you needed more of a reason to visit Presque Isle State Park, Discover Presque Isle is happening again in 2022. With a new format this year, the weeklong event promises to highlight the park's glorious natural resources and environment.
Running from Monday to Sunday, the event will be held at several different locations throughout the 3,200-acre peninsula.
There will be numerous recreational activities as well as educational workshops fit for the whole family.
Go on a guided hike, raise your bow for some archery, and get there early for a catered pancake breakfast. As always, there will be live music, and the much-loved sand sculpture competition. Take a tour of the Presque Isle Lighthouse for a unique opportunity to see inside an Erie landmark, and when the sun goes down, make sure to drop by the giant bonfire, with more events to be announced.
