COVID-19 Cases Rise Slightly In Erie County, Across Country
20 new cases were reported locally this week along with 2 additional deaths
According to the PA Department of Health, there have been 21,255 total cases of COVID-19 reported in Erie County, for an increase of 20 cases this week.
Erie County kept in step with Pennsylvania, as well as with the rest of the country, as cases increased slightly from last week's low numbers.
The Erie County Department of Health is reporting 477 total deaths. As data is verified, numbers change to reflect accuracy.
Pennsylvania has the total number of Erie County deaths at 419. According to both state and county data, there were two COVID-19 related deaths in Erie County this week.
According to the PA Department of Health, there are 123,570 fully vaccinated residents in Erie County, a 662 rise from last week, now accounting for nearly 46.4% of the entire population (for a 0.2% increase this week). There are currently 9,572 partially vaccinated residents.
