Botanical Beverages A (Goodell) Garden of Delights
Goodell Gardens and friends present the gardens' third annual Botanical Beverages event.
Saturday, June 24
Lush and bursting with color, Edinboro's Goodell Gardens is bound to liven up at least a couple of anyone's senses this time of year.
In celebration of the Summer Solstice, Goodell and friends will once again add another layer (or two, or three) to that sensory delight as they present the gardens' third annual Botanical Beverages event.
Those who go will be invited to not only see and smell, but also touch and taste a variety of beautiful homegrown herbs and blossoms, all expertly spun into unique, delectable cocktails by folks from the recently-opened Cart/Horse Distillery in Edinboro.
There will also be delicious event-themed hors d'oeuvres being offered up by Erie's Cali's West Catering, and, just so the ears don't feel left out, live music by local jam experts Special Guest.
Sounds like a fun — and interesting, and classy — way to elevate and transport the senses, as well as learn about just some of what's growing at Goodell and all around us.
As always, the event's proceeds will support educational and cultural programming offered throughout the spring and summer seasons at the historic, nonprofit venue.
