Basement of Terror: Halloween Show
Basement Transmissions hosts local music and costume contest
Friday, Oct. 28
If you've been looking for a reason to dig out that favorite Halloween costume this year, you're going to want to save the date for this event. Presented by Marley Hokaj and Dread Metal Productions, Basement Of Terror is creeping its way into Basement Transmissions for it's debut on Friday, Oct. 28th, and it's expected to be a terribly good time.
Scariest, cutest, most creative, and funniest costumes will get a prize at midnight, presented on stage, after enjoying some of Erie's favorite musical performances. This year's Basement of Terror lineup features multi-genre electronic duo Performance Software, scrap metal band Gelatin Skeleton, psychedelic prog-rock Stoned Apes, post-grunge five piece Odd Atrocity, Alternative Rock band Halfpace, as well as M.C.s Casey Valencic, Joe McLaughlin, and John Snyder keeping the stage alive between sets.
"When I started managing Odd Atrocity, one of my biggest goals was to throw my own show," Marley Hokaj says. "I definitely threw myself into it pretty deep with such a massive event, but I know in the end it will be a huge success. I plan to make this an annual event for many years to come." Hokaj adds: "I never would have been able to host this event without the help of Jay Durnell of Dread Metal Productions."
Presale tickets (also available from the bands or Marley Hokaj) $12, At the door $15 // Doors at 7, music at 8 // must be 18+ to attend // Drinks from Altered State Distillery and Erie Ale Works // Basement of Terror
